9 entrepreneurial projects received financing for the purchase of a franchise

9 entrepreneurial projects received financing for the purchase of a franchise based on the results of regional grant competitions in 2020-2022.

The competitions are organized by the Murmansk Regional Innovative Business Incubator as part of the implementation of the national project "Small and medium-sized entrepreneurship and support for individual entrepreneurial initiative" and the strategic plan "In the North – to live" initiated by Governor Andrey Chibis.

From 2020 to 2022, during the three competitions, 78 applications from entrepreneurs of the Murmansk region in the amount of 70.2 million rubles were admitted and considered by the commission. The projects of 9 winners received funding in the amount of 8.4 million rubles from the regional budget, while 19 jobs were created as part of their implementation.

The maximum amount of subsidy for one applicant is 1 million rubles, provided that the grantee co-finances at least 20% of the project implementation costs.

The subsidy is provided free of charge for financial support of expenses under the franchise agreement in the following areas: payment of a lump-sum contribution; rental of premises (no more than 15% of the subsidy amount); payment of utilities (no more than 5% of the subsidy amount); advertising expenses; purchase of fixed assets (equipment, office equipment, furniture, etc.); purchase of other inventory; repair work (with a preliminary calculation-estimate).

Among the projects that have received financial support is the CMD medical office. It was opened in 2021 under the franchise of the federal network "Center for Molecular Diagnostics of the Central Research Institute of Epidemiology of the Russian Federation" in the Pervomaisky district of Murmansk. The Center provides highly qualified laboratory diagnostics services to residents of the city and the region on the basis of the Central Research Institute of Epidemiology of Rospotrebnadzor. The company "Sintez-Murman" received a regional grant for the purchase of a franchise in 2020, brought the premises on the street into compliance with sanitary requirements. Bering, purchased the latest equipment and received licenses for new types of activities. The new medical office is equipped with examination and diagnostic rooms (urology, gynecology, ultrasound, ECG): patients can not only take tests for diagnostics, but also receive narrow-profile consultations of specialists.

Also among those who received funding is the medical organization "VIAL" LLC from Olenegorsk, operating under the brand of the laboratory "Hemotest" – a federal medical company that performs medical tests: from clinical blood analysis to the detection of genetic pathologies. The project was launched in 2022, and for six months of work, the medical department of the Hemotest laboratory has become very popular with the residents of the city. To date, the department carries out the collection of biological material for more than 2000 types of analyses. It is planned to introduce additional medical services, such as subcutaneous, intramuscular and intravenous administration of drugs.

The company store "Pure Benefit" in the Forum shopping center in Murmansk also received funding based on the results of a regional competition. It was opened under a franchise by an individual entrepreneur Alexey Alekseev. The company's policy is to provide consumers with household chemicals and cosmetics for hair and body of high quality, bypassing overpayments for expensive packaging, distributor services and other costs that affect the final cost. There are always household chemicals on sale in bottling, which allows you not only to save on the purchase, but also to take care of reducing the amount of plastic waste. The repeated and repeated use of plastic containers will be supported by various promotions and discounts.
