Today, at a meeting of the Murmansk Regional Duma, a law was unanimously adopted establishing a special badge in the region "For merits in entrepreneurial activity".
Individual entrepreneurs, founders and managers of companies operating in the Murmansk Region for at least 10 years, registered and (or) tax-registered in the region, who have made a significant contribution to the development of the economy of the Kola Polar Region, will be able to apply for a special badge.
The Ministry of Development of the Arctic and the Economy of the region, together with representatives of business associations of the region, developed criteria for evaluating the activities of economic entities when further considering the issue of awarding a new special badge.
In particular, a comprehensive assessment of economic performance indicators in dynamics will be carried out; activities aimed at popularization and development of entrepreneurship in the Murmansk region and beyond; assessments for innovation and activity in social projects will also be provided; other criteria.
When awarding the award, a one-time reward in the amount of 15,000 rubles is provided. No more than 5 awards can be made annually.
A by-law regulating the procedure for submitting candidates for the award will be worked out by the Ministry of Arctic Development and Economy of the Murmansk Region.
