At an operational meeting, the Governor of the Murmansk Region, Andrey Chibis, announced the start of accepting applications for participation in the annual regional Entrepreneur of the Year competition.
"I invite the entrepreneurs of the region to participate. The competition is one of the most significant and authoritative events in the business life of our region. Its goal is not only to encourage high business development results, but also to promote best practices. I am sure that the competition will show again that the entrepreneurs of the Murmansk region are people with an active lifestyle, capable of implementing ambitious projects and achieving success even in the most difficult conditions," said Andrey Chibis.
The Entrepreneur of the Year competition is traditionally one of the key platforms for identifying and supporting successful business practices in the region. The winners and laureates will be determined in 11 nominations: "Start", "Businesswoman", "Best family business", "For useful things", "Beauty Industry", "Best Brand", as well as new nominations — "Best exporter of goods", "Exporter of the Year in the service sector", "Best in the field of tourism and hospitality", "Gastronomic code of the Arctic", "Demographic potential".
Applications will be accepted from April 1 to April 30 (inclusive).
The awarding ceremony is timed to coincide with the Day of Russian Entrepreneurship.
