Today, during the operational meeting, Governor Andrey Chibis thanked the investment partners for their assistance in organizing the International Arctic Forum.
"The forum is a serious investment in the development of the region, attracting the attention of people and guests who will come to us more than once after that. And of course, these are additional resources for arranging and preparing events. I would like to thank the partners who are financially helping to organize the forum. These are our colleagues from Norilsk Nickel, Rosatom, PhosAgro, Novatek, Vallaturi, Rosseti, MAGE, and developers who are starting to build housing here – TSDgroup, Glorax, Aeroplane, Norebo, Avito, Belomorsky Rybak, Kurchatov Institute, and VEB.Russian Federation, VTB, Promsvyazbank. These colleagues financially supported the modernization and organization of the forum events with their money. And this is fundamentally important for us," said the head of the region.
The Governor expressed special gratitude to the Murmansk Region Development Corporation.
"They invested their additional income in the development of the Murmansk region, reinvested it, financing part of the forum's events. I would like to emphasize that this is not budget money, but the additional income of the organization that it has sent here," said Andrey Chibis.
The Governor stressed that the guests of the region always celebrate the cordiality and hospitality of the Murmansk region.
"The International Arctic Forum is a large–scale celebration with a rich and interesting program. As with any event of this level, there are a number of small time restrictions in the process, this applies to the central part of the city. I ask the residents to treat this with understanding. Everyone who comes to the Murmansk region always notes our cordiality and openness. The Murmansk Region is not only the edge of the world, but also the center of economic growth, as well as a kind, hospitable region," Andrey Chibis emphasized.
