Northerners can receive the support of the regional government in the form of a grant for the implementation of projects of contemporary art and creative industries. Thus, the Ministry of Culture of the Murmansk Region announces the start of accepting applications for grants for creative entrepreneurs.
Individual entrepreneurs and organizations engaged in the field of culture and art can receive up to 400 thousand rubles. Grant support is aimed at creating high-demand creative products and services that can generate stable income. First of all, support will be given to projects that reflect the unique spirit of the Kola Arctic, strengthen the image of the Murmansk region as a cultural center of the Arctic and contribute to the development of the cultural life of the region.
Applications are accepted from April 15 to May 15 through the Electronic Budget system (the Portal of state financial support). The winners must implement their ideas by the end of December 2025.

The grant for creative entrepreneurs was launched on the initiative of Governor Andrey Chibis in 2023. The program is being implemented within the framework of the strategic plan "Live in the North!" and has already proved its effectiveness. For example, last year grants were awarded to six entrepreneurs who developed unique products based on the cultural and historical heritage of the Arctic. Among them are creative projects, the production of souvenirs, the creation of clothing collections, unusual fishing equipment and even a board game with a local history theme. For creative entrepreneurs, this program is a great opportunity not only to realize their ideas, but also to contribute to the development of the cultural sphere of the region.
