Arkmineral – Resource, together with the Government of the Murmansk Region, continues to work on the implementation of an investment project for the development of the Afrikandovsky field.
According to the governor, geological exploration of Russia's largest complex deposit of titanium, niobium, tantalum and rare earth metals is now being completed significantly ahead of the license schedule.
The project assumes an investment volume of 16.9 billion rubles and the creation of 646 jobs. The net budget effect for the first 30 years of the project implementation will amount to more than 130 billion rubles, including more than 28 billion rubles to the regional budget.
The results of the auctions in the Kolmozersky and Polmostundra deposits will be announced at the beginning of next year.
The new lithium mining project is important for the socio-economic development of the Murmansk region, its implementation will create more than 1,000 jobs.
Over the entire period of the project implementation, the total amount of tax deductions to the consolidated budget of the Russian Federation will amount to about 450 billion rubles, of which 185 billion rubles to the regional budget
The trade turnover of the Arctic region with the Republic of Belarus in 2022 increased sevenfold.
In September, the delegation of the Murmansk Region visited Minsk on a working trip, where it was received by the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, the interlocutors agreed on cooperation in the fields of animal husbandry, construction, education and culture. The Arctic Region also intends to buy buses, trolleybuses, mining equipment and utilities from Belarus.
The government will sign a new cooperation agreement with Rosatom State Corporation.
"Currently, a new draft agreement is being prepared, which will include projects for the development of social infrastructure and improvement of the territory of the city of Polar Dawns," Andrei Chibis said.
The previous cooperation agreement with Rosatom State Corporation was concluded in 2012 and ends in 2022. The partnership made it possible to solve important tasks for the development of the urban environment and the modernization of educational organizations. This year alone, events worth more than 465 million rubles have been implemented.
The ship repair cluster is planned to be created on the basis of 10 ship repair plant
The Government of the Murmansk Region, together with the State Transport Leasing Company (STLC), is developing a concept for the creation of civil ship repair enterprises. One of the possible sites for the organization of ship repair may be 10 SRZ. Also, the corresponding infrastructure is being created on the basis of the Udarnik terminal.
Now there is an additional investment incentive for the development of the industry in the region. Taking into account the current situation, preferential offers have been formed, some of the events with the participation of large companies have already been held, the head of the region stressed.
