Governor Andrey Chibis summed up the main results of the Day of the Murmansk region, held at the international exhibition "Russia" on December 22.
Thus, the signing of 5 agreements in the region with the largest companies with a total investment of more than 55 billion rubles was named among the most important.
"These include projects for the construction of a residential quarter in Kola from the largest developer in the country, the Airplane Group; the construction of the Western Transport and Logistics Hub marine container terminal; the construction of a transshipment port complex in Murmansk; the creation of an all–season tourist and recreational complex in Teriberka and a hotel complex with a recreation center in Kirovsk," he listed the head of the region.
In addition, an agreement has been signed with Sberbank: cooperation is planned to open a digital art school in the region.
"And Alexey Borisovich Miller and I opened the Verkhne-Tulomskaya HPP, the most powerful in the North–West of Russia, after modernization," the governor stressed.
The head of the region also said that a trip to the exhibition was organized for about 100 children from the Murmansk region and Primorsky district to show them the achievements of Russia.
"I want to thank everyone for the kind words addressed to the Murmansk region and the high appreciation of our work for the development of the Kola Arctic. Thanks to everyone who contributes to our North, and to those who made the day of our region interesting and bright! We are working further," the governor wrote in his telegram channel.
