With the help of investment officials and their teams, more than 700 issues of entrepreneurs in the region were resolved in 2023, this is 90% of those received during the year, remaining in work. This was announced by Governor Andrey Chibis during an operational meeting. As the head of the region noted, in total last year more than 1,200 entrepreneurs of the region addressed the investment authorities, 270 personal receptions were held.
"This is a good result. It is clear that not all issues can be resolved immediately, but nevertheless, we see positive dynamics. We have been developing the institute of investment officers in municipalities for several years, today it is part of the investment standard, which was approved by the Government of the Russian Federation in pursuance of the instructions of President Vladimir Putin," Andrei Chibis stressed.
The most popular areas of appeals are consultations and preparation of documents on various support measures and provision of land plots.
Andrey Chibis noted that the work of the investment officers helps to implement important projects, develop business and create comfortable conditions for Northerners.
"In 2023, assistance was provided to the project for the construction of new biofuel boilers in Murmansk and near Monchegorsk, as well as to the project for the modernization of the heat supply system in Vidyaevo. Here, the investment officers helped and promptly processed the concessionaire's application, as well as coordinated the draft agreement in all instances. New boiler houses will allow settlements to switch to more efficient fuels, and this is another step away from fuel oil dependence," the governor stressed.
