In Apatity, together with the Murmansk Region Development Corporation, an Arctic-style gas station was launched

In the city of Apatity, on Moskovskaya Street, 1A, a modern Ivekta roadside service complex was opened, implemented by Ivekta Group and the Murmansk Region Development Corporation. This is another example of an investment project created not just with the support of the regional government, but jointly with it. The volume of co-financing from the region amounted to almost 50% of the project cost.

"This is a gas station complex that the government of the Murmansk Region is implementing together with an investor, and several other facilities are in operation. We see that the level of roadside infrastructure development in the region is beginning to reach a new level, and a recognizable Arctic network of gas stations has been created. It is important that due to the implementation of these projects, not only new ones are being created, but also outdated infrastructure facilities that have not been used recently are being returned to investment activities. This improves the appearance of our cities and the quality of life of Northerners," said Svetlana Panfilova, Minister of Arctic Development and Economy of the Murmansk Region.

During the implementation of the project, a complete reconstruction of the old gas station was carried out in Apatity, fuel tanks were cleaned and fuel distribution equipment was replaced. All popular types of automobile fuel are available at the gas station complex, and the possibility of charging electric vehicles will also be implemented in the near future. There is also a shop and a cafe with Arctic cuisine. The Regional Development Corporation provided all necessary support for the implementation of the project. The modernization of the gas station in Apatity began in February 2024, reconstruction work took five months. The total investment amounted to about 23 million rubles.

"Together with the Murmansk Region Development Corporation, we have been working hard towards this goal, putting our whole soul into our project. We especially want to note that the new gas station is the result of a large–scale reconstruction. We have completely renovated the station to offer the highest quality service, while we are especially proud to bring to life the idea of environmental friendliness of our stations. The installation of electric charging stations is our contribution to the development of the "green" infrastructure of the region," said Maxim Belov, co–founder of Ivekta Group LLC.

Recall that the first gas station of the Ivekta Group company was opened in the Pechenga district in 2022. A year later, in the autumn of 2023, together with the government of the Murmansk Region, represented by the Development Corporation in the village of Lovozero, as part of the plan "To live in the North" initiated by Governor Andrey Chibis, another complex was launched. There are plans to build several more complexes of the Arctic network – in Kirovsk and Teriberka. To implement joint projects, the Development Corporation and the investor have created a joint project company Atlas-Lovozero, which is a resident of the Russian Arctic.
