As part of an investment agreement with the government of the Murmansk Region, LLC “Sistema Tsentr” has begun the active phase of preparatory work on the site along Leningradskaya Street behind the Meridian hotel and business center. The plan is to build a multifunctional commercial and business center with a public parking lot with more than 100 spaces.
“Residents of Murmansk have repeatedly drawn attention to the importance of developing a modern parking lot at this site. We understand that its necessity is also due to the insufficient number of parking spaces in the city center as a whole.” It has been mentioned more than once that negotiations with investors on this matter are underway, and now LLC “System Center” has begun work. It is important to note that during the construction period, a parking lot will be opened for city residents behind the administration building of the Oktyabrsky District of the city, at Komsomolskaya, 10,” explained Olga Vovk, Deputy Governor of the Murmansk Region.
The installation of temporary fencing and utility rooms for construction workers has already begun on the site; after that, the delivery of materials will begin. At the same time, the company has signed contracts for technological connection to the engineering networks — the necessary utilities will be brought to the site.
It is planned that the work at the facility will be completed in 2028.
The project is included in the portfolio of agreements implemented within the framework of the Arctic Zone regime of the Russian Federation.
