At the operational meeting, Governor Andrey Chibis recalled that there are 20 strategic and priority investment projects in the region.
"Thanks only to our income and property tax benefits, the total amount of support that the government of the Murmansk Region provides to investors amounted to more than 15.4 billion rubles. Within the framework of these projects, over 3.6 thousand jobs have been created, more than 397 billion rubles have been invested, tax revenues from these investors amounted to more than 25 billion rubles," the governor said.
Andrey Chibis noted that as a result of these benefits - and this is a separate important element of the regional investment policy - more than 2 thousand jobs were created in the construction of the GOK "Oleniy Ruchey"; tax revenues from JSC "Apatit" increased 2.4 times, from Kovdorsky GOK - by 33%, and from the Kola MMC - by 28.5%.
