The national project to support SMEs in the region is being implemented with over-fulfillment of the plan

The national project "Small and medium-sized entrepreneurship and support for individual entrepreneurial initiative" in the Murmansk region is being implemented with over-fulfillment of the plan.

"Within the framework of the national project, huge support is provided to entrepreneurs, both financial (microloans, loan guarantees, grants) and non-financial (services, consultations, educational events). Increasing the availability of borrowed funds for business is one of the priority goals of the executive bodies of state power, therefore, the Fund for the Development of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises of the Murmansk Region has reduced interest rates on the entire line of preferential microloans for SMEs, which were previously tied to the key rate of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation. Since the beginning of this year, the Fund has issued 119 microloans totaling 190.2 million rubles, and continues to support entrepreneurs in the region by providing them with microloans for the development of their business," commented Tatiana Lyashchuk, First Deputy Minister of Arctic Development and Economy of the Murmansk Region.

According to the results of the first half of 2023, the number of active microloans provided by FORMAP to entrepreneurs amounted to 666 units. Guarantees issued by the Fund for loans to entrepreneurs in commercial banks in the amount of 328.73 million rubles allowed them to attract 690.25 million credit resources.

The number of active self-employed citizens increased by 18.21% compared to 2022 and amounted to 23,464 people.

10 small and medium-sized businesses have been exported with the help of the Export Support Center of the Murmansk Region, they have already signed contracts worth $ 3.4 million. The participation of small and medium-sized enterprises of the region in the international exhibition in Baku and Moscow was organized, as well as a reverse business mission from Kazakhstan to the Murmansk region was carried out.
