Polar exporters of cod, halibut, capelin, haddock, flounder, sea urchin and its caviar are taking part in the international seafood and fishing exhibition China Fisheries and Seafood Expo (CFSE-2023).
The Murmansk Region is represented at the exhibition in the Chinese city of Qingdao by RK Putina LLC, Resurs LLC, Fish Manufactories Murmansk LLC and MP-Group LLC. These companies presented at the stand a wide range of fish products, as well as sea urchin caviar.
They were able to participate in the exhibition thanks to the Export Support Center of the Murmansk Region with the assistance of the Ministry of Arctic Development and Economy of the Murmansk Region. The Center paid the costs of renting the exhibition space and building a collective stand, including the development of a design project.
"Representatives of Murmansk enterprises hold talks at the stand of the region, and also actively visit the stands of other companies at the exhibition themselves, promoting their products," said Anastasia Tyutina, General Director of the Murmansk Region Export Support Center.
She added that foreign buyers, mainly Chinese companies, are actively interested in Murmansk products at the exhibition.
"The most popular items for export are cod, halibut and capelin. There is also an interest in sea urchin caviar and directly in the hedgehog itself," Anastasia Tyutina clarified.
The participation of small and medium-sized enterprises of the Murmansk region in the international exhibition is being implemented within the framework of the national project "Small and Medium-sized Entrepreneurship and support for individual entrepreneurial initiative" with the assistance of the Regional Ministry of Arctic Development and Economy.
