According to the study "Investment attractiveness of regions: new challenges and opportunities for investors", the Murmansk region continues to improve its position and by the end of 2023 entered Group A-3, which corresponds to a high level of investment attractiveness.
The agency's assessment of investment attractiveness was based on the calculation of 66 indicators grouped into five blocks: infrastructure, economic, social, financial resources, and the state of the environment.
"Despite the challenges, the Murmansk region maintains the stability of the economy. The study notes that further successful attraction of investments to the regions will be possible with further development of infrastructure, support for innovation, and improvement of business conditions, which fully corresponds to the strategy of the plan "To live in the North" until 2030, which was presented by the governor in August this year," said the Acting Minister of Arctic Development and Economy Svetlana Panfilova.
According to the agency's forecasts, by the end of 2024, the median number of assessments of the investment attractiveness of the regions will remain at the level of 2023.
