On April 16, the conference "Technological development of industrial projects in the North" will be held at the business center "Arctic" in Murmansk. It will be attended by representatives of the oil and gas, mining, shipbuilding, engineering and consulting companies.
The event will become a platform for discussing cooperation between enterprises of the Murmansk Region and experts from other regions of Russia interested in sharing their experience. The participants will also consider the prospects for the introduction of innovative technological solutions in the North. During the event, there is an opportunity to present their developments in the format of reports and direct dialogue.
The Murmansk Region, due to its advantageous geographical location and the presence of an ice-free port capable of receiving vessels with virtually no displacement restrictions, is a very attractive region for hosting production support bases for project operators, and the presence of a developed industry ensures reliable supplies of necessary equipment and metal structures for the implementation of industrial and energy projects in the Arctic.
More than 100 people representing the largest Russian and regional industrial companies, suppliers and contractors of large industrial projects in the North, as well as research institutes, educational institutions, representatives of legislative and executive authorities are invited to participate in the conference.
The honorary guests of the event will be the participants of the Heroes of the North regional personnel program, who began internships in government agencies and large enterprises of the Murmansk region after an educational module dedicated to the technological sovereignty of the state and the digitalization of regional and municipal government processes.
The organizers are the Association of Contractors of Arctic projects "Murmanshelf" and the Association of Polar Explorers of the Murmansk region. The conference is supported by the Government of the Murmansk Region. Read more about the event at the link.
