"Own business" started in the Murmansk region

Own business started in the Murmansk region

The participants of the special operation and their family members from the Murmansk region, who want to engage in entrepreneurial activity, began to undergo intensive training within the framework of the federal project "Your Business", organized by United Russia, Opora Russia and the SME Corporation.

In five days, they will learn how to make business plans, understand the basic issues of finance, taxes, marketing and sales related to starting and running a business. The program is being held in Murmansk at the site of the United Russia Public Support Headquarters.

"Our task is to make assistance to our fighters even more targeted and operational, so that everyone who defends their Homeland feels our care. That is why, within the framework of the national program and the federal Entrepreneurship project, with the support of the regional branch of Opora Russia, the SME Corporation, and the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation, the Your Business program was launched. It opens up new opportunities for defenders of the Motherland for self–realization and civic life," said Sergey Dubovoy, First Deputy Secretary of the United Russia regional department.

During the program, participants will visit enterprises from the SME sector and will be able to ask company owners questions about how to conduct business and what to pay attention to.

"The governor and the Regional Duma have set a clear vector, the assistance should be broad, but also targeted. The "Your Business" program is specifically about targeting. But in order for it to work at full capacity, we need another pillar – the business community of the region. Support is important not only on the front line, but also here in the rear: mentoring, knowledge, access to infrastructure and opportunities," said Konstantin Kotovsky, Chairman of the Murmansk regional branch of Opora Russia. He also added that Opora Russia is already forming a pool of mentors from experienced entrepreneurs who will be assigned to each participant and help them take the first steps from the idea to the first sales.

More than 300 veterans of the Russian Military and their family members from different regions of Russia have already participated in the joint project of United Russia, Opora Russia and SME Corporation. In the Murmansk region, "Your Business" is held with the support of the regional government for 23 participants of the program. Among the listeners of the project are residents of Murmansk, BUT Severomorsk, Olenegorsk and Monchegorsk.

"During the intensive course, participants will be able to get answers to key questions that entrepreneurs usually have at the very beginning – financial, legal, property. In order not to solve them "in battle" when you start your business, we help you figure out all the nuances in advance," said Alexander Isaevich, CEO of SME Corporation. – As a result, the program helps to get more actively involved in the rhythm of peaceful life, so that the adaptation is successful and as fast as possible. We stay in touch with all the participants to help not only at the start, but also in the development of their business." He said that a separate intensive module will be devoted to existing business support tools, including using the services of the SME.RF Digital Platform.

By the end of the year, the Your Business project will be held in more than 40 regions. You can apply for participation through the Digital platform SME.RF.
