The franchisee of the largest Russian chain of fast food restaurants "Dodo Pizza", the company "A-1", has become the fiftieth resident of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation in the Murmansk region and by the autumn of 2021 will open the first pizzeria of the chain in the city of Apatity. The agreement on investment activities was concluded with a single development institute-the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic, subordinate to the Ministry of Regional Development.

We will make every effort to ensure that the Dodo network development department and the brand founder Fyodor Ovchinnikov personally have no doubts. Our northern customers will be satisfied. A big role in making the decision was played by tax benefits for the next 5 years, which we will receive as a resident of the Russian Arctic."

The investor has already chosen a place to place the pizzeria – in the city center, in a residential building on Fersman Street. Currently, a design project is being developed in the parent company "Dodo Pizza". According to Evgeny Leontiev, out of more than 700 pizzerias that currently operate in the world, including in Russia, the institution in Apatity will be one of the most beautiful and spacious. Modernization of the premises with an area of about 250 sq. m. the construction has already begun, and all repair work has been previously agreed with the residents of the house. Install a powerful ventilation system, refrigerating chambers, purchase equipment. For example, a "smart" machine that can make coffee with foam, a dough mixer for making "live" dough and a conveyor oven for 30 varieties of pizzas. The AZRF resident expects that the pizzeria will be able to fulfill up to 5 thousand orders per month, and after reaching maximum turnover-up to 7 thousand orders per month.
"All work processes in our pizzeria, including order processing, kitchen work, delivery, staff management, will be based on the cloud ERP system "Dodo IS". We will install cameras, as well as in the entire network of pizzerias of this brand, so that each client can observe the process of preparing an order and make a fast courier delivery for mobile customers. We expect no more than 35 minutes from threshold to threshold: when a person is hungry, every minute is precious. If, for some reason, the courier spends more than an hour on delivery, the customer will receive a pizza for free, " adds Yevgeny Leontiev.
The company has already started searching for employees, 30 jobs are being created here, and they are betting on local residents. The evaluation criteria for hiring are goodwill to each customer, openness, responsibility. Beginners will be able to undergo training according to the standards of the Dodo Pizza network, become participants of online courses, trainings and master classes.
The opening of a new institution in Apatity is planned for the beginning of September 2021.

According to the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic, 140 agreements have been signed with residents of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation, who plan to implement projects worth more than 248 billion rubles and employ 7,170 people. Today, Dodo Pizza is the number one in the Russian market of mass chain catering and the only Russian company that is among the four largest fast food restaurants along with McDonald's, Burger King and KFC.
