In St. Petersburg‑St. Petersburg hosted the Seafood Expo Russia exhibition and forum, the main venue of the Russian fishing industry of international importance. The event annually brings together representatives of the entire fisheries complex.
The Murmansk Region traditionally holds a leading position in the country's fishing industry: the region accounts for every eleventh ton of fish produced in the region. Russian fish. Cod, haddock, halibut and other bottom-dwelling species form the basis of fishing in the Barents Sea.

The Export Support Center of the Murmansk Region plays a significant role in promoting the arctic representatives of SMEs. The CPE provides entities with a wide range of services and support at almost all stages of the export transaction, as well as in organizing participation in international events. Most of the services are provided within the framework of the national project "International Cooperation and Export". So, within the framework of the exhibition, the Center prepared a collective stand of the Murmansk region, where seven small and medium-sized businesses demonstrated their capabilities.
JSC "Murmansk Packaging Plant" has been a full—cycle enterprise since 1932, producing cardboard containers, paper bags and cans for the fishing industry. "BLK‑Fish" LLC has been breeding sturgeon, sterlet and rainbow trout in the Arctic for more than 20 years, offering consumers red and black caviar, as well as fresh fish. JSC "Nord‑West F. K." has been a full—service enterprise since 1989, equipped with its own fishing vessels and having an MSC environmental certificate. LLC "Park" has been extracting and processing aquatic biological resources in its own factories since 2019, producing cod and haddock fillets, clipfisk; the company is listed in international registries for supplies to the EU, Nigeria, Brazil and China. "Shtil" Cannery in Olenegorsk has been producing canned fish since 2004, and in 2026 it expanded its range and launched a workshop for dried and smoked products. LLC "Engineering" offers IT solutions for accounting and labeling of fish products in accordance with the requirements of GIS MT "Honest Sign". The SEC of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Severnaya Zvezda", founded in 1926 in the village of Belokamenka, has been supplying export products since 2007 and is one of the oldest fishing enterprises in the region.
Participation in Seafood Expo Russia allows polar enterprises to demonstrate the potential of the Murmansk region, establish new business contacts and expand export areas — from aquaculture and fish products to packaging and digital technologies for the industry.
