""ROST" LLC and "SZ Atlant" LLC signed two cooperation agreements between the Government of the region and investors in Severomorsk.‑Invest". "Signatures" were put by Governor Andrey Chibis, Director of "ROST" Artem Shaverin and director of "SZ "Atlant‑Invest" Anton Sholokhov.
The "SZ "Atlant project‑"Invest", a resident of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation and a member of the "Kronex" Group of Companies, provides for the construction of a 9-storey apartment building on Sovetskaya Street.
"We have set a goal: housing should be built not only in Murmansk, but also in other cities. This is fundamentally important for us. We are not just signing an agreement — it has been painstaking work for six months, it was necessary to legally prepare the site," the governor said.
"ROSTEC" plans to build a residential complex "Polar Residence" on Vostochnaya Street in Severomorsk. The project includes 35 individual residential buildings of different layouts ranging from 80 to 140 square meters. m.
"Housing is one of the key topics. Today we are talking about low-rise construction, because many people want to live in their own house. Villages are already growing around Murmansk, Apatity, Kirovsk, and Monchegorsk. Severomorsk is the territory where the cadet corps operates, a new kindergarten has been built, and the municipality has demolished abandoned buildings. In our opinion, this is an ideal platform for the development of housing construction. In addition to apartment buildings, we hope that we will get a low-rise village. This will definitely consolidate those residents who want to have their own home in the region, live and serve here, ensure the security of our country and create large families. This is the second agreement, and thus we open a new milestone in the development of housing construction in Severomorsk. The developer who plans to do this is the same one who built the pool," Andrey Chibis emphasized.
The implementation of these projects is of particular importance for the city: the new residential facilities will be the first built in Severomorsk in the last 30 years. The last apartment building in BUTOVO was commissioned in 1997. The urgency of housing development is also emphasized by the existing need for housing: currently, more than 2,000 military personnel rent housing in the city.
"New" residential buildings belong to commercial development, which gives residents the opportunity to purchase apartments and houses in Severomorsk using a preferential "Arctic mortgage" and the "Own a house in the Arctic" program.
