Since last year, an investment commissioner has been appointed in each executive body of the Murmansk Region, whose task was to assist investors in launching investment projects.
One of the starting issues in the implementation of investment projects is the definition of a territory that meets all the necessary requirements of both the business plan and land and urban planning legislation.
In 2022, the Ministry of the Murmansk Region reviewed and evaluated more than 150 territories where investment projects were planned to be implemented. During the analysis, if potential risks were identified, investors were offered alternative placement options.
The result of the work was the conclusion of 124 land lease agreements.
Successful implementation of investment projects allows creating new jobs for local residents and attracting new potential investors in the Arctic.
