The head of the region, Andrey Chibis, held a working meeting with the president of Cosmos Hotel Group, Alexander Biba. The parties discussed plans for the development of the hotel and tourism infrastructure in the Murmansk region.
"We are determined to develop our cooperation, because the demand for accommodation is huge, and the flow of tourists is large. People come to the Kola Arctic to see our sights and nature, the International Arctic Forum was recently held, and all this encourages us to actively develop the hotel infrastructure," said Andrey Chibis.
Alexander Biba emphasized the company's interest in expanding its presence in the North.
"In Murmansk, we are already successfully developing our 4-star Cosmos Murmansk hotel, which is in steady demand among both Russians and foreign guests. Of course, the Murmansk Region is a promising area for the growth of the tourism industry, because thanks to you and your team, the tourist flow to the region is growing every year. For us, the development of tourism infrastructure and the creation of high-quality hotel services is an important mission, including staff training. On the basis of our own Cosmos Academy of Hospitality, we are creating a future talent pool and are ready to share our many years of experience and expertise," said Alexander Biba.
The parties agreed on further cooperation, including support from the region and attracting additional investments.
