Until March 21, the My Business Center will host a business event for the women's business community in the region to discuss the role of women in the modern world, develop common approaches to solving problems in the development of women's business, and promote women's entrepreneurship.
Natalia Poluyanova, Deputy Minister of Arctic Development and Economy of the Murmansk Region, delivered a welcoming speech at the grand opening of the large-scale event, which brought together businesswomen from all over the region, noting the potential of women's entrepreneurship.:
"Women's business in the region's economy is a big driving soft force, female entrepreneurs are active, multitasking, and take into account the interests of society and its needs in their business activities. Now more than ever, it is important to establish and strengthen your business, to find new opportunities for development."
The focus is on the history of business creation and development by entrepreneurs of the Kola Peninsula. Each participant of the business program will be able to communicate with successful businesswomen who implement their projects in the Murmansk Region, and learn about their secrets and life hacks.
A special feature of the event will be the presentation of the book "Women of Russia and the CIS", where the authors will share their insights and talk about how they build companies and inspire others to new achievements. Northerners will be able to immerse themselves even more into the world of women's entrepreneurship through portraits and stories of those who create businesses with soul and determination.
The organizers of the women's entrepreneurship week were the Committee for the Development of Women's Entrepreneurship of the Murmansk regional branch of OPORA RUSSIA with the support of the Center for Entrepreneurship Support of the Murmansk Region.
The event will be held from March 17 to March 21, beginning at 14:00 at the address: Murmansk, Podstanitskogo str., 1st, 2nd floor, My Business center.
