In 2023, the Regional Export Standard 2.0 was fully introduced in the Murmansk Region as part of the presidential national project "International Cooperation and Export". As explained by Acting Governor Nadezhda Aksenova during an operational meeting, the document includes a list of tools to support export activities. And all 13 instruments were fully and successfully implemented in the Murmansk region.

"I will focus on the main indicators reflecting the effectiveness of the work carried out. So, today the Murmansk region ranks 3rd in the Northwestern Federal District in terms of exports. With the assistance of the Export Support Center, 116 contracts have been signed over 5 years. The geography of supplies is 58 countries," Nadezhda Aksenova noted.

Work with exporters was carried out in the Murmansk region before.  The standard also allowed it to be structured, filled in and formalized into a comprehensive development plan until 2030. The three main directions reflected in the program are the development of industrial exports, the development of exports of the agro-industrial complex, and the development of exports of tourist services.
