Time to apply for the Rurban Creative Lab-a program to transform urban and rural areas into creative clusters The All – Russian selection of participants in the Rurban Creative Lab-the largest program in the country to transform urban and rural areas into creative clusters, created under the auspices of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives. By the end of 2021, its participants will be able to create three creative platforms in their region at once. Applications are accepted until February 15 at the link. Participation in the program is free of charge.
Rurban Creative Lab will be held in two stages:
From February 15 to March 14, an online marathon will be held, where the main components of the formula for the success of the creative territory will be worked out: infrastructure, communities and stakeholders, business processes, and much more. The result will be the selection of 10 teams – regional production centers, which will have the opportunity to participate in the full-time part of the laboratory and together with experts to launch creative clusters in their regions.
From March 22 to September 26, Rurban Creative Lab events will be held in person. Each regional production center will launch three different types of creative clusters in different territories.
The purpose of the program is to develop mechanisms for the transformation of industrial territories and real estate objects that are not involved in economic turnover into creative clusters – sites where a community of creative-oriented entrepreneurs will be formed.
