The sixth resident of the territory of advanced socio-economic development Capital of the Arctic was registered

Today, the sixth company – «Pondera Arktik»-appeared in the register of residents of the territory of the "Capital of the Arctic". The investor has signed an agreement with the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic, and now a set of preferences is available to him.


«Pondera Arktik» is a contractor for a strategically important project for Russia to increase capacity and complete the assembly of a liquefied gas plant within the framework of the Arctic SPG-2 project implemented by NOVATEK.


"The agreement provides for investments in the amount of 32 million rubles and the creation of 636 new jobs. The investment climate in the region is becoming more and more favorable – in less than a year of the existence of the "Capital of the Arctic", 6 companies have already become its residents, this is a significant result, which we do not plan to stop at, and we expect that this indicator will be higher in this half – year," said Olga Kuznetsova, Deputy Governor of the Murmansk region.


Recall that for residents, the total amount of insurance premiums was reduced from 30% to 7.6% for 10 years, the federal income tax was reset for 5 years, the regional part was reduced to 5% in the first 5 years, in the next 5 years - to 10%, the land tax was also reset for 3 years and the property tax for 5 years. In addition, residents are provided with non-tax benefits: the provision of land plots for rent without bidding, scheduled inspections are reduced to 15 days, and unscheduled inspections-up to 5 days, a special order of urban planning regulations, and others.
