Description
«Mother-Entrepreneur» is a federal educational project on the development of female entrepreneurship. Training under the «Mother-Entrepreneur» program is provided in the form of the intramural training (intensive course) on the fundamentals of entrepreneurship and effective business administration. It is conducted by experienced business coaches and representatives of regional structures engaged in support of the small business. The duration of training under the program is 40 hours (5 days).
The project is created for women, for whom it is essential to combine professional self-fulfilment and care of the family. Women, who have minor children and women on maternity leave, are invited to participate. An important part of the «Mother-Entrepreneur» project is a business plan contest prepared by the course participants as final works. Under the project terms, in each region, a contest winner receives a grant from Amway Company to implement her business idea, or its equivalent — a package of business services to support the start-up. Authors of projects, who won a place in the final, shall defend their business plans before an independent expert jury consisting of representatives of organizers, field-specific and financial departments and structures, business associations and the media.
Support recipients
The training program is designed for women on maternity leave, with minor children, as well as registered with an employment agency.
