5 companies represented the Murmansk Region at the International seafood and fishing Exhibition in China. LLC "RK Putina", LLC "Resource", LLC "Fish Manufactories Murmansk" and LLC "MP-Group" demonstrated at the collective stand of the region a wide range of fish products, as well as sea urchin caviar.
The largest industry event in Asia, China Fisheries and Seafood Expo (CFSE-2023), was organized in Qingdao (China)
"In 2019, I went to the exhibition on my own as a visitor. In 2023, thanks to the Export Support Center of the Murmansk region, I went to the exhibition as a participant. I really liked the approach this year. There was a big sign "Russia", there was some kind of cohesion, many Russian companies in one place. It looked great from the outside. Other countries were scattered, scattered in different corners, they were not even visible. The Russian stands had the most visitors. People came up and were interested in our products," said Mikhail Matveev, a representative of Resurs LLC.
The company presented Murmansk flounder, capelin, perch, cod, haddock, catfish at the exhibition.
"We had a lot of negotiations with various companies, ranging from traders to factories that want to buy our products. There were also many companies that wanted to start working with Russia. The exhibition allowed them to get acquainted with Russian manufacturers and assortment," Mikhail Matveev said.
By the way, the company has found potential partners in China. The first deliveries are planned to be made after the New Year.
The participation of polar entrepreneurs in the exhibition was organized by the ANO "Export Support Center of the Murmansk Region" with the assistance of the Ministry of Arctic Development and Economy of the Murmansk Region.
"The Export Support Center does a very useful job - it allows small businesses to get on the rails, helps to find contacts, and participation in such a large international exhibition works for the image of companies," the entrepreneur summed up.
The participation of small and medium-sized enterprises of the Murmansk region in the international exhibition is being implemented within the framework of the national project "Small and Medium-sized Entrepreneurship and support for individual entrepreneurial initiative" with the assistance of the Regional Ministry of Arctic Development and Economy.
