This year, for the brand competition, which is being held by ASI and the Roscongress Foundation with the support of VEB.In the Russian Federation, more than 12 thousand applications were received – almost 2.5 times more than a year earlier. If last year the entrepreneurs of the Murmansk region submitted 28 applications, then in the second season of the competition there were already 83. The competition helps regional entrepreneurs to reach the federal level.
30 winning companies of the first season of the competition have already received a full package of declared preferences. At the award ceremony, the President of the Russian Federation got acquainted with the products of the winning brands.
"Our manufacturers are already proving that they can work better – now it is important to help Russian manufacturers, as they say, to promote themselves so that we have our own trademarks that the country will be proud of, which will be recognizable not only in Russia, but also in the world as a whole," Vladimir Putin said at the the forum "Strong ideas for the new age".
The "Know Our People" competition is one of the tools to support young Russian manufacturers.
The winners will receive assistance in promoting on marketplaces and in the media, access to training programs, individual meetings with business experts, membership in business associations, free participation in major events, as well as grant support.
