During the operational meeting, they talked about the results of the work of the investment officers. Governor Andrey Chibis noted that since the beginning of the year 185 personal meetings have been held in municipalities, which were attended by almost 800 entrepreneurs.
"The most important thing is that 90% of the issues raised at such events have already been resolved. The rest are being worked out, as they require more time to achieve results. Local investment officers are becoming an increasingly important tool for supporting our entrepreneurs. There are a lot of questions, and not always of local importance. But the task of those responsible for this is to achieve results, regardless of the level of the issue raised from the point of view of the authorities or the resource–supplying organization," the head of the region stressed.
Andrey Chibis also recalled that recently the Murmansk Region confirmed the successful implementation of the new Regional Investment Standard of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia.
"The next stage of work will be the extension of the standard to the municipal level in all regions. We have had the Institute of Investment Officers in the Murmansk Region for two years, and this is one of the key tools for implementing the investment standard in municipalities," the governor said.
Artem Kuksa, General Director of the Murmansk Region Development Corporation, spoke in more detail about the results of the work and specific examples of interaction between investment officials and entrepreneurs in his report.
