The main energy saving potential of the public sector of the Murmansk Region is concentrated in the consumption of thermal energy. This is a consequence of the climatic features of the region. Therefore, most of the energy-efficient measures are associated with the modernization of heating systems.
During the working trip, the First Deputy Minister of Energy and Housing of the Murmansk region, Alyona Kuznetsova, evaluated the result of energy-saving measures carried out on the terms of energy service in the Murmansk Regional Oncology dispensary.
In the medical facility, the energy service company Cretus LLC carried out a large-scale reconstruction of three heat points: automated control systems, dispatching, regulating the supply of coolant and hot water preparation, and heat energy metering units were installed.
The energy service contract was signed at the end of 2018 for a period of six years. Modern materials and equipment of the new generation have made it possible to achieve significant savings – more than 30 %, of which 5 % remains to the institution. Upon completion of the contract, the institution will receive all the savings.
As reported by the General Director of "Kratos" Anatoly Kilocycle, the main criteria in the production of works was the convenience and safety of operation.
"For example, as a thermal insulation, we used not the usual glass wool, but high-temperature foam rubber, including installing covers on all pipeline connections, which, firstly, reduces the risk of injury in the event of an emergency to almost zero, and secondly, provides less heat loss in the heat points themselves."
During the inspection, an integrated approach and high quality of the work performed were noted.
"The savings from installing new equipment in individual heating stations are obvious. In the absence of budget expenditures, the benefit of the institution for the two years of the contract was more than 600 thousand rubles, " Alena Kuznetsova stressed.
