The list of residents of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation from the Murmansk region was supplemented by two projects. The agreement for the implementation of investment activities was signed by the first individual entrepreneur from the Murmansk region – Alexander Popovsky.

The essence of the project of Alexander Popovsky is the opening of a car wash and tire repair complex in Olenegorsk, capable of servicing up to 1800 cars per month. The entrepreneur plans to invest more than 8 million rubles in the project and create 7 jobs.

Also, the status of a resident of the Russian Arctic was granted to the research and production company "Arksid" with a project for the production of high-quality potatoes of domestic and foreign varieties in the Tersk district. The amount of investment in the project is 43 million rubles, 14 jobs will be created.

"Both of our new residents are unique in their own way. First, it is encouraging that individual entrepreneurs decide to develop their business based on the state and receive new types of support. Secondly, the idea of the company "arksid" is the first project from our region related to agricultural activities, " said Olga Kuznetsova, Deputy Governor of the Murmansk region.
