The Murmansk Region Development Corporation in the new "Investment Digest" tells about the events that positively influenced the investment attractiveness of the region in early summer. New issues of the collection are regularly published on the Investment Portal and include news related to the implementation of investment projects, as well as expert opinions and analytical data.
According to experts of the Development Corporation, the beginning of the summer of 2023 has become saturated with economic events. First of all, this is due to the annual St. Petersburg International Economic Forum in St. Petersburg, during which the Murmansk Region signed about 20 cooperation agreements. The key is with Gazprom about its intentions to build the Volkhov–Murmansk gas pipeline, which will help provide gas to the population, enterprises and new investment projects of the Murmansk Region and Karelia. This event was positively assessed by experts. The head of the Olkon mining company called it historic and noted that in the event of the arrival of gas, the company will make a significant contribution to solving the problem of rational use and conservation of energy resources. It is also worth noting that this year SPIEF concluded a number of important agreements on the development of lithium deposits and the launch of pharmaceutical production with foreign partners.
"The new digest presents the main results of the economic forum for the Murmansk region. In general, this year at the SPIEF, the results of the work on investment projects, which was carried out by the government team all year, became known, and new vectors were noted.
