Alexandra Kondaurova, Deputy Governor of the Murmansk Region, presented the region at the Forum of Tourist Territories-2025. In her speech at the session "Voice of the Regions: Investment Opportunities and priority Projects", Alexandra Kondaurova spoke about successfully implemented tourism projects and presented investment lots in the hospitality industry of the Kola Arctic.
The forum participants got acquainted with unique tourist projects: the Kitovy Bereg Park Hotel and the Izovela art sanatorium.
Kitovy Bereg Park Hotel was built on the Sredny and Rybachy peninsulas as part of the implementation of the first stage of the Valla-Tunturi complex project: on the shores of the Arctic Ocean, guests of the Kola Arctic can enjoy a unique year-round glamping and comfortable cottages, a sauna house with a spa and an Arctic cuisine restaurant. The project offers a wide range of activities, regardless of the season. The volume of investments amounted to about 7.8 billion rubles.
The second project is the Izovela art sanatorium in the city of Apatity, on the basis of which the Radiance Center for Contemporary Art has been launched. Izovela is a unique recreation format that combines high–level hotel service and treatment programs, and provides an opportunity for guests to experience modern art. The founder of the project is the famous Russian TV presenter Andrey Malakhov, who has become a complex investor in the city of Apatity.
"Tourism in the Murmansk region is actively developing and becoming a tangible sector of the economy. According to the results of 8 months of 2025, we record a 10% increase in the tourist flow to the region. The growing demand creates a demand for high–quality infrastructure - the Murmansk region needs new locations. In addition to incredible locations and full one-stop administrative support, we can also offer tax benefits. The Murmansk Region is one hundred percent Arctic, so all investors in the region receive the status of residents of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation: this is an opportunity to obtain land without bidding, as well as 5% income tax during the first five years of the project," emphasized Alexandra Kondaurova.
At the session, the Murmansk region presented investment lots for the creation of a premium hotel far from civilization on the shores of the Barents Sea in the village of Dalniye Zelentsy, which has the potential to repeat the tourist success of Teriberka or the "Whale Coast", as well as a project to create a hotel with an ethnic flavor in one of the most sacred and mysterious places in Russia – on the coast of Seydozera.
The central topics of the forum in 2025 were the strategic development of the industry, the presentation of investment lots, infrastructural development of territories, digitalization and improvement of the quality of services.
