The final of the VII All-Russian tourist Award "Route of the Year"has ended in Saransk. The tour # VkusArktiki of the company "Eco Hotel", from the Murmansk region, became the winner of the second degree in the category "Best gastronomic tour".
In total, 202 projects from 46 regions of Russia were presented to the competition jury of the event.
# Taste of the Arctic was developed with an emphasis on immersing tourists in the basics of Sami, Pomeranian and modern Arctic cuisine in public catering establishments participating in the project "Gastronomic Map of Russia". The tour is integrative and introduces the history, culture and life of the peoples of the Kola Peninsula.
"This is a really interesting tour, which was also supported by the regional government. As part of the implementation of the National Project "Small and Medium-sized Businesses and support for individual entrepreneurial initiatives", 200 thousand rubles were allocated, " said Olga Kuznetsova, Deputy Governor of the Murmansk Region.
