Recruitment of potential residents for the first industrial park has begun in the Murmansk Region

Recruitment of potential residents for the first industrial park has begun in the Murmansk Region. This was announced by Governor Andrey Chibis today. Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered the launch of at least 10 industrial parks, technology parks and business parks in the Arctic and the Far East by 2030.

"We invite all potential residents who have ideas on locating and launching production facilities in the industrial park to send their applications to the Development Corporation. In the next few months, we plan to complete all the preparations and launch the work," said the head of the region.

The Government of the Murmansk Region has initiated a project to create the first integrated territory in the region with a developed infrastructure for manufacturing enterprises. Already, enterprises can declare their intention to become its residents.

The project, supported by the Presidential Plenipotentiary Representative in the Far Eastern Federal District, Yuri Trutnev, the Ministry of Regional Development and the Ministry of Industry and Trade, is designed to dramatically simplify the launch and expansion of production facilities. Currently, an active study of funding sources is underway with the federal authorities.

It is planned that the industrial park being created will be located in the vicinity of the regional center on an area of 12 hectares in a convenient location with high transport accessibility. The territory will be equipped with all the necessary conditions for launching new and expanding existing production facilities.

The project is included in the master plan of the Murmansk agglomeration and is of strategic importance due to the fact that the appearance of a site with a ready-made modern infrastructure in the region will reduce the time and cost of launching new production facilities. This, in turn, will help attract new industries, launch start-ups with industrial potential and create promising jobs for highly qualified specialists, including engineers, programmers and technologists.

At the end of 2025, the project of the future industrial park was presented in Moscow at the presentation of promising investment projects in the Murmansk region and aroused wide interest among the business community. At the first stage, it is planned to place at least 10 production facilities on the territory of the industrial park. Already at the planning stage, medium-sized businesses are invited to secure future capacities, which will allow them to form the park's infrastructure in exact accordance with the real needs of investors.

First of all, the park is interested in residents working in the following industries: production of marine equipment and components, additive manufacturing and reengineering, production of building materials, assembly of engineering and industrial equipment, production of unmanned aircraft systems, production of household and household goods.
