Companies-residents of preferential regimes of the TOP and AZ of the Russian Federation invest billions in the development of the Murmansk region

The investment climate in the region is steadily improving, the Murmansk region is the leader in the number of residents of preferential business regimes in the Arctic, said Deputy Governor Olga Kuznetsova during the online broadcast "Two years in two hours", dedicated to the two years of work of Andrey Chibis as head of the region.

The vice-governor went on the air from the site of the welding shop of the company-resident of the territory of socio-economic development "Capital of the Arctic" (TSD) "Renaissance Arctic" - the contractor of "NOVATEK" in the implementation of the project for the construction of natural gas liquefaction lines for "Arktik SPG 2". The company has done a lot of work to create a modern production complex for the production of metal structures in the area of Nizhne-Rostinskogo shosse in Murmansk. Now the equipment is being tested under load, test commissioning is being carried out, which is planned to be completed by May.

To date, 5 companies have become residents of the first and only Arctic TSD, the total investment volume for the projects exceeds 95 billion rubles, and more than 2 thousand jobs will be created.

The Vice-governor noted that residents invest huge sums in the development of the region. For example, the company "NOVATEK" and the regional government signed an agreement on social and economic partnership, for 10 years the amount of funding will be 6 billion rubles.

In the near future, the number of residents of the TSD will be replenished by the sixth company. The application has already been approved by the commission of the Ministry of the Russian Federation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic.

Another preferential program that operates throughout the region and is available to small and medium-sized businesses is the regime of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation. Today, 26 projects in the field of tourism, construction and urban infrastructure have received the status of a resident of the Russian Arctic. Their implementation will bring the region more than 51 billion rubles and more than 1300 new jobs.

Andrey Chibis, in turn, noted that the rapid development of the region's economy and the social responsibility of large businesses solve the urgent problem of outflow of the population, primarily school leavers.

"To succeed in life, given the kind of companies we have, what we are doing now with the technical university, how we are re-equipping colleges, young people now do not need to go anywhere at all. You can and should realize yourself at home, " the governor stressed.
