Today, the Secretary of the Russian Security Council, Nikolai Patrushev, held a trilateral meeting with the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the North-Western Federal District, Alexander Gutan, and the Governor of the Murmansk Region, Andrey Chibis.

The participants discussed issues of economic and environmental security in the region. Special attention was paid to the development of energy and the safe operation of transport infrastructure.

The meeting took place before the meeting on topical issues of national security in the North-West of Russia, which is currently being held in Murmansk.
