The International Arctic Forum The Arctic - the territory of dialogue will be held in the Murmansk region in 2025

On June 6, during the work of SPIEF 2024, an Agreement was signed on cooperation between the Murmansk Region and the Roscongress Foundation and the holding of the International Arctic Forum "Arctic - Territory of Dialogue" in the Murmansk Region in 2025. The agreement was signed by Governor Andrey Chibis and Director of the Foundation Alexander Stuglev.

The International Arctic Forum brings together the efforts of government authorities, international organizations, representatives of the scientific and business communities of Russia and foreign countries for a thorough exchange of views and the development of mechanisms for the effective development of the potential of the Arctic region.

"It is a great honor for us that the decision has been made to hold the international Arctic forum in the Murmansk region. Our main goal is to unite all regions of the Arctic zone of Russia in order to jointly develop the powerful economic potential of the macroregion and make comfortable living conditions for Northerners. I am confident that the forum will help to develop effective approaches to overcoming the challenges and fulfilling the tasks facing the Arctic," said Andrey Chibis, Governor of the Murmansk Region.

"The discussion at the forum on the issues of sustainable development of the Arctic territories will draw additional attention to the challenges and prospects that Russia has in this region. Today, tools for the application of advanced, innovative experience, the formation of new logistics chains, the preservation of the environment, the development of tourism, the recruitment of new personnel, and the development of directions for the development of state support for investment projects in the Arctic are coming to the fore," said Alexander Stuglev, Director of the Roscongress Foundation.
