The Murmansk Region delegation presented the plan To live in the North! at a forum in Moscow.

The delegation of the Murmansk Region took part in the work of the final third day of the II All—Russian Municipal Forum "Small Motherland - the strength of Russia".

At the panel discussion "BRICS Municipalities. Urban tourism" the head of Murmansk, Yuri Serdkin, noted that the development of tourist infrastructure, including the construction of a new terminal at Murmansk airport, the improvement of urban spaces and the creation of new points of attraction, are already bringing a noticeable increase in tourist flow to the region and making Murmansk the real capital of the Arctic. "Modern standards of quality of life require fundamental changes in infrastructure, housing, transport and public spaces," is one of the main topics raised during the discussion of the issues of each region of the country.

Large-scale industrial and transport projects are already being implemented in the region: the development of a transport hub, the development of mineral resources and the creation of the Lavna seaport. Over the past six years, about 1.5 trillion rubles of investments have been attracted to the region.

The municipalities of the Murmansk Region apply the best practices in various fields of local government.
The forum was attended by about 4,000 people from all regions of the country: representatives of local governments, federal and regional authorities, businesses, public organizations and experts.

The Forum gave a new impetus to the development of municipalities and the implementation of large-scale regional and municipal projects aimed at improving the quality of life and creating a modern urban environment.
