The results of the Gubernatorial Start grant competition, implemented within the framework of the strategic plan "In the North – to Live" on the initiative of Governor Andrey Chibis, were summed up in the Murmansk Region. As part of the grant, 35 projects of entrepreneurs will receive support. This was announced today by First Vice-Governor Oksana Demchenko during an operational meeting in the government of the Murmansk region.
21 initiatives have already received support in the first stage of the competitive selection, and 14 in the second stage.
"This is one of the most popular competitions among the business community. Let me remind you that the grant amount is up to 1 million rubles, for certain categories of applicants – up to 2 million rubles, the self-employed can apply for a grant of up to 500 thousand rubles. In just five years of the program's operation, we have supported 147 entrepreneurial initiatives totaling 164 million rubles," First Deputy Governor Oksana Demchenko said.
The detailed results were presented by Svetlana Panfilova, Minister of Arctic Development and Economy of the Murmansk Region.
