The Unified Governors Grant Center has started its work

The Unified Governor's Grant Center, created as part of the strategic plan "Live in the North!" on behalf of Governor Andrey Chibis, has begun its work. Residents of the Murmansk region no longer need to study various websites to understand whether their offer is suitable for a particular program.

"It is important that the grant center provides the necessary consultations on the projects and grants that we already have. And speed is important so that the review process doesn't take too long. People often have good initiatives that are not supported by support measures," the head of the region explained at an operational meeting.

Information about available support will be collected in one place. Various contests and selections for grant support have already been posted in a separate section of Our North in four main areas: federal grants, regional grants, ideas for the development of the region and charity.

"As in the region, there are a large number of tools at the federal level to support initiatives in various areas. The direction "Federal Grants" presented on the portal will include accessible information about current federal competitions. The platform will allow us to collect information on federal grants in one place, as well as information on projects being implemented in the Murmansk Region," said Olga Vovk, Deputy Governor.

In the future, reports on completed projects will be posted on the portal.

"One of the unique practices will be a section dedicated to charity projects in the region, which aims to help implement socially significant initiatives. Investment projects of various levels are being implemented in the region, and the demand for solving social problems from business is growing. The platform will allow to unite all these parties," the Vice Governor emphasized.

According to her, the Charity section will contain a set of proposals verified by municipalities and relevant departments to provide support in the areas of health, ecology, education, sports, urban environment and culture.

The Agency for Territorial Development of the Murmansk Region became the operator of the Unified Governor's Grant Center. As part of the project, it will also consider ideas submitted to the Government, with the participation of external experts and representatives of relevant ministries. Previously, this practice was applied to proposals that residents sent to form a strategic plan "To live in the North!". Thus, more than 72,000 ideas for the development of the region were received from citizens.

At the end of Olga Vovk's report, the governor once again drew attention to the need to be attentive to the proposals of the northerners.

"I ask you to respond and work out, if necessary, we will correct and adjust the regulatory framework," said Andrey Chibis.
