The water supply route will connect the Western shore of the Kola Bay with Murmansk

Work on the reconstruction of water supply networks located on the western shore of the Kola Bay is proceeding according to the established schedule.

So, to date, the first stage of the project has been fully completed. From Minkino to Drovyanoye, specialists of the State Unitary Enterprise "Murmanskvodokanal" laid almost 20 thousand linear meters of pipes.

The second stage of global reconstruction is in the active phase. 7.7 thousand linear meters of pipes were laid on the segment from Komsomolskaya Gorka to Drovyanoye, which is more than 50% of the planned work.

The third stage, namely the laying of water supply networks under water bodies – the Kola and Tuloma rivers – will begin in the summer, after the completion of the examination and receipt of all permits.

Recall that the goal of the project for the reconstruction of water supply networks located on the Western Shore of the Kola Bay is to provide clean and high–quality water to the microdistricts of Abram-Mys and Drovyanoye, the village of Minkino, the villages of Mishukovo and Mezhdurechye. The project provides for the reconstruction of existing networks and the laying of a new water pipeline with a total length of more than 30 thousand linear meters, with a implementation period until 2023.
