A working meeting was held between Vitaly Markelov, Deputy Chairman of the Gazprom Management Board, and Andrey Chibis, Governor. During the working meeting, the parties discussed the implementation of the instruction of Russian President Vladimir Putin on the gasification of the Murmansk region dated May 25, 2022. Then the head of state supported the initiative of the head of the region on the gasification of the Kola Arctic.
Gasification will close the issue of fuel oil dependence in the region, will be an impetus to the development of industrial production at a different technological level, and will contribute to the creation of a large number of new jobs in the region.
