A meeting of the Council for Export and Development of SMEs under the Government of the region was held at the Regional Management Center, chaired by Svetlana Panfilova, Deputy Governor and Minister of Arctic Development and Economy of the Murmansk Region. It was attended by representatives of businesses, business associations and government authorities.

In her opening remarks, Svetlana Panfilova stressed the importance of fulfilling the President's instructions to increase exports of non—primary non-energy goods by at least two thirds by 2030 compared to 2023.

"A number of targets set by the Murmansk Region's regional export development program for 2025 have been exceeded. Despite all the difficulties of the current state of foreign policy relations, the Murmansk region is open for the exchange of goods, for interaction, for the implementation of joint projects and, in general, trade relations," said the Vice Governor.

The participants of the meeting were told that applications are currently being selected to compensate for the cost of transporting agricultural products abroad in the amount of 25-100% of the actual costs incurred. The delivery period is from July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2026. Documents are submitted through the My Export portal

Anastasia Tyutina, CEO of ANO Business 51 and Head of the Export Support Center, reported on the results of the CPE's work for 2025. Thus, 10 unique enterprises have signed export contracts. Among them are enterprises that supply fish products, seafood, dietary supplements, metal packaging, as well as companies engaged in the export of tourist services. The total volume of exports of small and medium-sized enterprises of the Murmansk region, which concluded export contracts with the assistance of the Center or made additional shipments under previously accounted contracts, amounted to more than 6.2 million US dollars. The export geography covered 15 countries.

Natalia Shchebarova, Professor at Murmansk Arctic University, spoke about personnel training for export-oriented enterprises in the region. Oleg Terebenin, CEO of Visit Murmansk LLC, shared his experience in exporting tourist services. Alexander Pryakhin, a representative of Russian Export Center JSC in Kaliningrad, reported on support measures and benefits of participating in the Made in Russia program, which helps promote goods and services in foreign markets.
