An agreement on the development of the Kirovsk heat supply system was signed at the Russia exhibition

Today, as part of the Day of the Far East and the Arctic, an agreement was signed at the Russia exhibition and forum between the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic and the Khibiny Thermal Company.

The new resident plans to implement a project to modernize the heat supply system in Kirovsk. The project also provides for the connection of new consumers of thermal energy in developing sectors of the economy. The total investment volume will amount to more than 1 billion rubles.

During the implementation of the investment project, JSC "HTK" plans to ensure the necessary level of reliability of heat supply to existing consumers, as well as create conditions for connecting new consumers working in the field of tourism, culture and production.


"From 2024 to 2033, we will carry out a phased reconstruction of the heating networks of the city of Kirovsk, equip heat supply facilities with metering devices, modernize control systems and other measures. This will improve the reliability of heat supply to residents of the city, increase energy efficiency and reduce heat loss, as well as connect new consumers of thermal energy – enterprises of the tourism and service sectors – in the amount of 15.7 Gcal/hour. As a whole, our project will help to curb the growth of tariffs for thermal energy," said Alexander Nikolichev, General Director of Khibiny Thermal Company JSC.


"Ensuring reliable energy supply to people, especially in the Arctic, is an urgent and important task. In addition, improving the energy efficiency of the regional economy is one of the elements of sustainable economic growth. The AZRF regime creates conditions for the implementation of such investment projects using state support tools. The resident is guaranteed zero property tax and income tax reduced to 5% for the first five years, zero land tax for the first three years, subsidizing 75% of insurance premiums for newly created jobs will be valid for 10 years. We will comprehensively support the project at all stages of implementation, assist in the effective interaction of the new resident with federal and regional authorities, provide services and services," said Nikolai Zapryagaev, General Director of the KRDV.
