Andrey Chibis announced the acceptance of applications for the Governors Start from February 6

On February 6, applications will be accepted within the framework of the "Governor's Start" competition. This was announced by the governor of the Murmansk region Andrey Chibis at an operational meeting.

"We see that the project is in demand and has a positive impact on the urban economy. Therefore, we decided to increase the financing to 50 million rubles. This means that the number of businessmen who will receive support will also increase," the head of the region stressed.

Andrey Chibis also noted that during the 4 years of the project's implementation, 127 entrepreneurs received support for a total amount of 134 million rubles.

"It is important that the projects have made it possible to create, including in remote and border settlements, BUT also in single-industry towns, more than 200 jobs. More than 15 million rubles have already been returned to the budget as tax deductions, and another 17 million rubles have been transferred to extra-budgetary funds. We keep priority for projects that will be implemented on the territory of the "Hectare of the Arctic", in BUT, border and remote settlements, in single-industry towns. For projects implemented by its participants. And also for projects related to the pharmacy business and the involvement of convicts in labor and correctional labor. All these categories of projects can claim 2 million rubles," the governor said.

Svetlana Panfilova, Minister of Arctic Development and Economy of the Murmansk Region, reported in more detail on the procedure and rules for providing support.

As part of the ongoing work with the Federal Penitentiary Service in the Murmansk Region, a priority group for the implementation of projects aimed at attracting convicts to labor and correctional labor has been placed in a separate category. The involvement of convicts in labor is one of the most effective means of educating persons in places of deprivation of liberty and their subsequent re-socialization in society.

The procedure is also supplemented by the conditions for additional selection if, following the results of two competitions, grant funds are not distributed in full or the recipients of the subsidy have not fulfilled the condition on the development of their own funds within the prescribed period.

As part of the competitive selection, a list of promising projects will additionally be formed that, for one reason or another, did not win the competition. In case of additional selection, the winners will be determined from among such projects.

"Applications will be accepted until March 7. Small and medium-sized businesses, individuals, and the self-employed can participate in the competition. The project must be implemented within a year from the date of receipt of the grant, the total duration of monitoring the project to achieve its indicators is two years. After two years, the entrepreneur has the right to reapply for the "Governor's Start". The grant amount for certain categories of applicants is 2 million rubles and depends on the choice of the priority group of the project direction," Svetlana Panfilova said.

The grant funds can be used for the rental of non-residential premises or land plots, the purchase of equipment, the cost of advertising and promotion of the project, including the creation of an Internet site, repair and construction and installation work.

The amount of co-financing on the part of the applicant is at least 20% of the cost of sales for small and medium-sized businesses and at least 10% of the cost of sales for self-employed citizens.

In addition, the recipients of the subsidy have the opportunity to receive a microloan from NMMC FORMAP up to 1 million rubles on preferential terms.
