Business development opportunities in the Arctic zone were discussed by representatives of business communities and authorities at the annual conference Pillars of Russia

The panelists discussed the importance of developing and supporting the local business community and beginning and existing entrepreneurs for a stable and strong economy of the region. The Murmansk Region Development Corporation took part in the conference. Here are three theses from the speakers ' speeches:


1. The development of small and medium–sized businesses is the most important component of the economic strategy of the Murmansk region and the country. That is why the state pays special attention to reducing administrative barriers and increasing the availability of financial resources, – said the head of the Department of State Support for Entrepreneurship Ministry of Arctic Development and Economy Marta Govor. 

2. The existing preferential regimes facilitate that an entrepreneur, regardless of what he does, can come and receive state support, — said the director of the Department of Investment Development  Development Corporation of the Murmansk region Semyon Kalmykov.
