Construction of the Atlas roadside service complex, a joint investment project of the Murmansk Region Development Corporation and a private investor, the Ivekta Company, has begun in Lovozero.
This summer, a multifunctional Atlas roadside service complex is planned to open in Lovozero – with an Arctic cuisine cafe, a shop, a charging station for electric cars and a gas station for cars with internal combustion engines. With a request to build such an object, Lovozer residents appealed to the governor of the Murmansk region Andrey Chibis and the administration of the Lovozersky district, since they have to refuel in Revda.
The joint investment project of the Murmansk Region Development Corporation and Ivekta-Group LLC is being implemented under the project financing system within the framework of the strategic plan "To Live in the North". In the fall of 2022, the project received the status of a resident of the Russian Arctic.
Carefully observing all building regulations, the authors of the project decided to build a complex at the entrance to the village, increasing by more than twice the distance from residential buildings required by safety standards, SNIPS regulating the creation of such facilities, and manufacturers of specialized equipment. The earthworks started are being carried out according to the project. It is planned that the complex will be fully built this summer.
The functionality of the complex will be expanded thanks to cooperation with Lovozersk entrepreneurs – equipment for tire repair and a car wash will appear on Atlas.
