Today, as part of the operational meeting, Deputy Governor of the Murmansk Region Olga Kuznetsova spoke about the results of supporting entrepreneurs in 2022 and plans for the current year.
In 2022, the amount of support to entrepreneurs in the region amounted to 869 million rubles. The pool of measures that small and medium–sized businesses in the region, as well as individuals wishing to start their own business, could use is very wide - from gratuitous grants, preferential loans to information and consulting services.
For example, in the regional microfinance organization NMCC "FORMAP" last year, businessmen were able to receive 381 loans for a record amount of 638,060 thousand rubles. Subsidiary support, amounting to about 14 million rubles in various directions, was provided to 37 entrepreneurs from different parts of our region.
In addition, various gratuitous grants are provided to representatives of the business community in the region. In 2022, the amount of support amounted to 79.20 million rubles: this is a Governor's startup, a grant for the purchase of a franchise, as well as grants to social entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs under 25 years of age.
All these and many other support measures by the end of 2022 made it possible to increase the number of small and medium-sized businesses in the Murmansk Region to 25 thousand units.
