Murmansk region became the winner of the First National Award "Smart City" in the nomination "For interregional cooperation". During an operational meeting in the government of the region, Governor Andrey Chibis said that the award was brought to the Arctic by the III All-Russian Forum "Smart City. New Challenges", which took place in Murmansk from July 14 to July 16, 2022.
At that time, the forum's events brought together more than 600 representatives of executive authorities, IT entrepreneurs and companies from more than 50 cities of Russia.
The solemn presentation of the First National Award for contribution to the development of digitalization of urban economy "Smart City" took place last week in Krasnoyarsk. The Murmansk region brought several prizes from there.
The portal "Our North" took the third place in the nomination "For the best digital solution for feedback from citizens", the project "Unified map of a resident of the Murmansk region" also took the bronze in the nomination "Digital map of a resident", and the Investment portal of the Murmansk region was awarded the diploma of the laureate in the nomination "For the best electronic public investment map/portal".
Andrey Chibis thanked for the work done and stressed that it is impossible to stop at the results achieved.
"I want to thank the staff of the Ministry of Finance of the Arctic, all those involved in the implementation of projects, our partners and wish them: "Keep it up." In terms of digitalization, there are still a large number of tasks and each time we need to improve the quality of our services," the head of the region noted.
